Waste Water Analysis/Reporting: The goal of this project was to migrate the data analysis and reporting out of waste water treatment data (pH and flow of processed water) out of Excel and into an automatable framework. The primary dataset is generated at a 15 second cadence, stored as CSV file, and exported from the equipment weekly.
Safety Data Sheet Binder Download Automation: In this project, I developed Python scripts to download Safety Data Sheet (SDS) binders (a self-host-able website with SDS files and metadata) via FTPS and/or Selenium. I wrote a script that could also normalize the JSON metadata in each binder for use in other platforms, i.e. AppSheet. With AppSheet it became easy for the employees to view/read safety data sheets on their tablets such as iPad, iPhones etc.
Dataswarm and Tableau: Developed automated data pipelines (Dataswarm) to query data for events supported by the Special Projects team within Facebook Reality Labs Environmental Health and Safety (FRL EHS). - Simplified event data structure for better use in analysis and metric trending. - Event data were queried and visualized in Tableau for real-time analysis and display on metrics on hashtag usage, time-spent.
Tableau : Used Tableau to query and display a real-time data and components such as tags, time into a flat structure useful for visualization.
CRUD Interface: Developed a CRUD interface using the ENT Framework. The interface will be used for managing frequently used URLs and shortening them to a specific name using Facebook's internal URL shortener.
In the first phase of development, I have contributed to a Python framework in the backend that manages REST APIs and wrote scripts that tests Verizon’s SDN based application, Open Edge. Used Flask- jinja 2 templating and integrated the front end technologies such as HTML, JS, JQuery, Bootstrap to display the test results..Contributed in the frontend development of the OpenEdge API using NodeJs and Nightwatch ( Front End Testing tool) to test the application’s features.
In the second phase of this project, contributed to the new framework that test network Creator(GUI) application using junit testing framework, maven and selenium.
Contributed libraries for Cisco Intersight app using Python UI automation and Performed Q/A testing , Cisco’s QALI frame work and Selenium such as Dashboard, drawer, widgets and dashlets. Developed an starship ap using Docker and Flask, Code Ignitor as front end tools and MongoDB as as backend tool. Generated an api "app.py"in flask/xr-bit server that pushes the data in the MongoDB.The database is helping to display the data in the html page. Utilized Yang Development kit(YDK) to automate Multicast functionality and contribute to Cisco’s Cafy library. And created Jenkins Jobs to push the code into Production environment
Webscraping project using python and selenium for AT&T billing:
The project deals to find the current usage ofdata for all the ATT phone numbers that company have by issued to its employees by logging into the portal and
retrieve the data usage by the specific number. The idea is to minimize the time instead of entering the entire
information of a user.
Work Load Automation using Active Batch
Implemented complex workload automation software Active Batch. It integrates all processes running in multiple
environments e.g. Windows, Linux, SQL Server, Oracle into a single scheduling tool giving the department the
ability to effectively monitor and maintain all batch processes.Utilized Advanced Systems Concepts Active Batch on
Windows OS: Folders, Plans, Jobs, Queues, and Triggers,Variable, and System Views
AWS Data Pipeline to archive logs from TVU devices: Created AWS Data Pipeline to archive logs from TVU devices into Amazon S3 and launch Amazon EMR cluster on-demand or weekly to run analytics and generate custom reports. TVU Pack works with Content Delivery Network and Amazon AWS cloud to allow direct-to-Web broadcasting of Live contents. Amazon Kinesis does the streaming ingestions and provide continuous processing to streaming data. Tested the TVU Networks Live Video Streaming products on the mobile/vehicle and reported the performance and logged the profile.
Supported Linux and Windows servers running MySql DB (optimizing and tuning) and Apache Web Servers. Perform Data Entry, Evaluation and Maintenance of CC&B software .CC&B is a customer care software for Commercial and Industrial gas meters.
Aside from being a software engineer, I appreciate the vast majority of my time working out, hiking (on weekends) and learning something new. I am foodie so I enjoy cooking different cuisines and spend a quality time with my friends , family and peers.
When forced indoors, I follow a number of sci-fi , fantasy genre movies and mysterical television shows.
